The futures and listed derivatives industry has shown incredible resilience and adaptability in meeting the challenges of the worldwide Covid-19 health crisis. Most of us, with the exception of a few essential employees, have been working from home and had to develop home offices literally overnight. As we adjust to this new reality, FIA has increased its information sharing and advocacy on several issues to help its members. We have created a dedicated Covid-19 webpage that has information about our activity as well as notices from market and government authorities related to the pandemic. Recently, FIA President and CEO Walt Lukken wrote in a Viewpoint article about his new reality of working from the laundry room and asked industry professionals to post pictures of their home offices on social media using the hashtag #futuresindustryhomeoffice.
