Charlie Nastro was the head of the futures division at Lehman brothers for many years and a tremendous asset to the industry. He was one of the early presidents of the FIA Law & Compliance Division and has been involved in numerous FIA projects. He served on several exchange boards of directors in both New York and Chicago. Perhaps his greatest contribution was his work with the National Futures Association, which he chaired from 1998 to 2004. His dedication and selfless commitment was a shining example of service to the industry, and his businessman’s attention to the bottom line helped greatly to improve the NFA’s efficiency and effectiveness.
