In support of its mission to promote better understanding of the global derivatives markets, FIA publishes several types of statistics that are obtained from a variety of sources. These include monthly reports on trading levels as well as periodic reports on the number of clearing firms and the amount of customer funds held for trading on futures exchanges. FIA also provides the underlying data to member firms, academics and journalists. For more information about FIA’s data resources, contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
FIA collects data on volume and open interest for futures and options listed on more than 75 exchanges around the world. FIA uses these data to present an annual review of volume trends in MarketVoice, the FIA's magazine. FIA also provides members of the association with contract-level data in a monthly spreadsheet format.
FIA publishes statistics on volume and market share trends on swap execution facilities via a series of interactive visualizations. FIA also publishes a spreadsheet with weekly data. Both are available to the public via the FIA website.
