In support of its mission to promote better understanding of and greater transparency into the global derivatives markets, FIA publishes several types of statistics. These include levels of trading activity on exchanges and swap execution facilities as well as the number of clearing firms in the U.S. and the amount of customer funds held by these firms.

FCM Tracker

Discover insights into the financial condition of futures commission merchants through the FIA FCM Tracker, a series of interactive visualizations. Based on data published by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission on a monthly basis, these visualizations show the level of customer segregated funds held by FCMs operating in the U.S. The visualizations can be used to show trends in the overall amount of customer funds held for trading in futures and swaps. Users also can drill down into key data points for individual FCMs. Access Now

SEF Tracker

FIA publishes statistics on volume and market share trends on swap execution facilities via a series of interactive visualizations. The visualizations are updated on a monthly basis and can be used to show trends in the overall level of trading activity. In addition, the data can be filtered by trading venue and type of product. Exchange Volume

FIA collects data on volume and open interest for futures and options listed on more than 75 exchanges around the world. FIA uses these data to provide the public with an annual review of volume trends in MarketVoice, FIA's magazine. FIA also provides members of the association with contract-level data on volume and open interest in a spreadsheet format. Access Now
