Traders scouting for relative value opportunities across fixed income futures, swaps and cash Treasuries now have access to an online application that taps into real-time data from CME Group and ICAP.
The tool, rapidRV, provides more than 15 interactive analytics that allow traders to view real-time displays of side-by-side pricing analysis and opportunity assessment in fixed income products. For example, the analytics include screens for invoice swap trades and other swap vs. futures combinations, a “cheapest to deliver” Treasury table and several other types of relative value trades and hedging strategies.
The market data for swaps, swaptions and cash Treasuries come from ICAP, while CME provides the data for Treasury, Eurodollar and deliverable swap futures. The application itself is based on technology developed by The Beast Apps, a cloud-based financial app store and development company formerly known as Vyapar that maintains offices in New York and Gujarat.
