On July 10, the Singapore Ministry of Communications and Information and the Cyber Security Agency of Singapore published a proposed cybersecurity bill. The bill will establish a framework for the oversight and maintenance of national cybersecurity in Singapore and empower the CSA to carry out its functions. One of the "essential services" that will be covered by the bill includes derivatives clearing, trading and settlement.
