For more than four decades, Jerrold Salzman has served as a leading expert in the laws and regulations that impact our industry and as a leader in the derivatives bar. He is a highly trusted advisor of the CME and has served as a great business counselor through many landmark developments at CME. He is a great orator of futures and derivatives industry laws and regulation and has been a sought after speaker at many events. He is currently of counsel at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom, in the firm’s Commodities and Futures Regulation and Litigation practice. Before that he was partner and co-founder of the firm Freeman, Freeman & Salzman, where he practiced for 40 years. He has authored a number of articles related to a broad range of topics impacting the listed derivatives industry in which he is an expert including the Shad/Johnson Accord, merging regulatory agencies, and stock index futures, to name a few.
