Arthur Hahn served as global co-chair of the Financial Services practice at Katten Muchin Rosenman with a career spanning 37 years at the firm. He was one of the few lawyers that served global clearinghouse clients in jurisdictions spanning the U.S., Europe, Asia and Latin America. Additionally, he was a member of the executive committee and board of Katten for over 20 years.
Hahn represented major international banks and brokerage firms, international equity and commodity exchanges, and clearinghouses and technology companies in connection with their regulatory, business and litigation needs. These clients included the LIFFE Exchange, LCH.Clearnet Group, Bank of New York Mellon Corporation, The Mexican Derivatives Exchange (MexDer), Morgan Stanley, Barclays and CalPERS.
After many years of service on the FIA board, Hahn now currently serves as a special advisor. He is also a public director of the National Futures Association and serves as a director of the Institute for Financial Markets.
