The next installment of the FIA Compliance & Regulation Forum series will focus on sustainable finance and the role of financial markets in this space. With over 700 hard/soft policy initiatives; 80 new policies in 2019 alone, sustainable finance has become a key focus point for regulators and market participants alike. Sustainable finance aims to tackle global crisis through global markets taking into account environmental, social and governance aspects. The EU Sustainable Action Plan from March 2018 begins the transition from technical-focus to strategic implementation, emphasising the role of the financial industry as a safeguard for the future of our planet.
This forum will provide an overview of developments in sustainable finance with insight from both regulators and market participants. Members will have the opportunity to interact with market peers and regulatory bodies while also discovering how you can engage with FIA in this space.
