The Securities Financing Transaction Regulation (SFTR) text is currently under review by the European Council and Parliament. It is expected to be approved on 27 October 2015 and come into force six months after this date.
FIA has put together a summary which is limited to obligations arising from SFTR in connection with commodities transactions.
