Walt Lukken, president and CEO of FIA, congratulated Tom Sexton on being named president and CEO of the National Futures Association (NFA) today.
“The NFA plays a critical role in maintaining strong, healthy, and well-functioning markets, and I look forward to seeing it grow under Tom’s leadership,” Lukken said. “Tom has proven to be a principled, steady hand who is committed to our industry. I’m looking forward to working with him more closely in his new role.”
Sexton will be replacing Dan Roth, who announced his retirement in May. Lukken thanked him for his leadership. “Dan has done a great deal to build a robust regulatory framework for our industry, and he leaves a strong legacy for Tom to carry forward.”
