FIA hosted this 60-minute webinar on the Commodity Futures Trading Commission's approach to regulation of cross-border trading. The discussion focused on the exemptive order issued on July 13, which provides certain entities with temporary relief from certain swap-related provisions of the Dodd-Frank Act. The discussion included a description of the various timeframes for compliance with Dodd-Frank requirements for cross-border entities and transactions as well as conditions that must be met in order to obtain relief.
