FIA responded to the ESMA Consultation Paper on draft guidelines on the MiFID II/MiFIR obligations on market data from the perspective of market data users. FIA exchange and clearing members welcome ESMA’s efforts to provide further guidance in this area, and are largely supportive of the proposed guidelines. We hope that the technical suggestions and comments submitted to ESMA will assist them in the process of finalizing the guidelines.
