FIA Operations Americas has published a guide to the administration of exchange and clearing transaction fees charged by U.S. futures exchanges. The 14-page guide was drafted by a working group of futures brokers working in conjunction with exchanges, clearinghouses and vendors. The guide outlines current practices, provides links to exchange and clearinghouse reference materials, recommends broadly applicable actions, and suggests ways to improve and enhance transaction fee administration. In addition, FIA has created a fee administration webpage where members can find updates to the guide and other transaction fee information.
