In light of the ongoing COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic globally, FIA is shifting its Expo and Asia conferences to a 100% virtual platform for the rest of 2020. Building on our efforts this June with IDX Virtual, FIA has invested in a virtual conferences platform that brings our members, attendees, sponsors and exhibitors an enhanced environment fostering networking, interactive sessions and a robust trade show experience.
The virtual conference details are:
- Expo Virtual 2020 (November 10-12) – The Futures and Options Expo gives you the opportunity to connect with established industry institutions, vendors providing practical applications, and startups offering innovative solutions and to gain valuable insights on key regulatory developments and industry trends.
- Asia Virtual 2020 (December 1-3) – Connect with leading firms in this growing market at the Asia Derivatives Conference and discover the trends that are shaping the Asia-Pacific region.
FIA President and CEO Walt Lukken commends the FIA staff and the industry for its shift to virtual events since the pandemic, stating: “FIA, like our industry, is reshaping itself to meet the needs of today’s environment. Our shift to all virtual conferences for the rest of the year will help FIA continue to foster community and connections within the industry.
