Worldwide volume of exchange-traded derivatives was 4.01 billion contracts in the month of October, down 5.4% from the previous month but up 34.7% from October 2019.
On a year-to-date basis, volume in the first ten months of the year was 37.68 billion contracts, up 30.7% from the first ten months of 2019.
Total open interest at the end of October was 1.02 billion contracts, up 6.1% from the previous month and up 3.1% from a year ago.
