Worldwide volume of exchange-traded derivatives was 2.86 billion contracts in the month of June, down 7.2% from the previous month but up 12.6% from June 2018. On a year-to-date basis, volume in the first half of the year was 16.55 billion contracts, up 11.1% from the first half of 2018. Total open interest at the end of June was 884.8 million contracts, up 3.9% from a year ago.
