ESMA publishes MiFID II/MiFIR consultation paper

On 19 December, ESMA published its Consultation Paper on MiFID II/MiFIR and the Consultation Paper Annex B on Regulatory Technical Standards on MiFID II/MiFIR. These are the result of an initial Consultation Paper issued by ESMA over the summer, which set out a number of policies for consideration by stakeholders. The consultation period for these latest Papers runs until 2 March and FIA is undertaking a major programme of liaising with its members to assist in the drafting of its response.
