FUTURES 101: An Introduction to U.S. Futures Markets and Regulation

Can you tell the difference between a future, a swap, an option, and a security?  Do you know why companies use these financial instruments?  Do you understand the legal and regulatory environment governing these markets? FIA’s Law and Compliance Division presents Futures 101, a half-day interactive program that gives you a clear grounding in this area of finance. 

Explore fundamental concepts and regulations relating to U.S. futures markets with reference to other these other financial instruments.  Topics will include market participants and regulators, market structure, clearing, transaction documentation as well as key rules and regulations. After the program wraps up, join the speakers and L&C Division members for a networking happy hour. Learn more about the program, and register today!
