FIA EPTA comments on EU Short-Selling Regulation

FIA European Principal Traders Association submitted a five-page letter to the European Securities and Markets Authority in response to its call for evidence on the European Short-Selling Regulation. FIA EPTA noted that certain provisions in the regulation have reduced liquidity for small-cap stocks and created unnecessary downward pressure on individual stocks, and offered several recommendations for improvements.
