In letters filed today with the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, and the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, FIA outlines its concerns, stating that the proposals would dramatically increase capital requirements for derivatives clearing services that banks offer to their clients.
