Response to EU Parliament and Council proposal on regulation of benchmarks

FIA Europe (under its previous name, Futures and Options Association) responsed to proposed regulation on benchmarks by the European Parliament and Council. While supportive of European regulation to create a common framework for reliabe and correctly used benchmarks across different states, FIA Europe stated that the objectives for the proposed regulation should be closely aligned with the IOSCO Principles.
