17 September 2015 10:00pm EDT

  • Innovators Pavilion Will Be Part of FIA's Chicago Expo in November
  • Innovators Pavilion Will Showcase New Technology in the Futures, Options and Cleared Swaps Industry

Washington, D.C.—September 17, 2015— FIA today announced the first eight companies selected to exhibit in the Innovators Pavilion, a showcase for startup companies providing forward-thinking solutions for the futures, options and cleared swaps industry.

Innovators Pavilion is a new feature at the annual FIA Futures and Options Expo in Chicago. With more than 5,000 people attending each year, the FIA Expo is the largest gathering of derivatives industry professionals in the world. Attendees include senior executives from brokerage firms, exchanges, trading firms and service providers, and the exhibit hall typically attracts more than a hundred firms as exhibitors.

The eight companies that have been selected to participate in the Innovators Pavilion will receive space on the Expo show floor to display their services—at no charge—and they will have the opportunity to give a live presentation to Expo attendees.

The eight companies are:

Aesthetic Integration Ltd.
Airex, Inc.
CloudMargin
Duco
Global Markets Exchange Group
GX2 Systems, LLC
TickSmith Corp.
Tradelegs LLC

“We are very excited to announce the first eight companies that have qualified for this new part of the annual FIA Expo,” said Rob Creamer, FIA board member and chairman of FIA Principal Traders Group, who is chairing the Innovators Pavilion selection committee. “This is a great way for our industry to promote innovation and forge connections between entrepreneurial startups, venture capitalists and the companies that can benefit from their services.”

The companies were selected on the basis of applications that were submitted and reviewed by a committee of industry experts assembled by FIA. Several other applications are currently under review and FIA expects to announce several additional participants in the coming weeks.
